Mike Peoples: American Hero

Dateline: Sunday afternoon along Santa Monica South at Lifeguard Tower #28.  Doubled up with two Ocean Lifeguards, namely, veteran LACo OL/Ph.d, Mike Peoples, and veteran LACo OL/Paramedic, Nick Sullivan... These are their stories.....

a significant SSW swell is still pumping out waves, lateral currents and rip currents in its fourth consecutive day along the coast of Southern California..... and Santa Monica South is no exception...

... and then observing two young female swimmers bobbing along with the lateral current and in danger of being swept out by a rip current, OL Mike Peoples makes his way to the water... preceded by OL Nick Sullivan in the red jacket with hoodie...
