Dru Jones Tutorial With A Shovel...

Dateline: Saturday, June 11, 2016, at Santa Monica North Tower 1550, just north of the Santa Monica Pier... while taking a break from the Santa Monica Pier Paddleboard Race & Ocean Festival mid morning today we grabbed a latte at the pier Coffee Bean and then walked over to check out Santa Monica North... where we observed the guard setting up his signs with the use of the tower shovel... Arriving home and reviewing the day's photos we realized that this exceptional ocean lifeguard was none other than veteran LACo OL, Dru Jones!   Check out the technique, folks, and observe that Dru keeps watching the water and all the while chewing gum!  Well done!  :-)
