Lacey Beatie to the Rescue... Again!...

Dateline:  Saturday morning at approx. 0800 hrs at SMS Tower #16 during the ocean swimming event at the 2016 Santa Monica Pier Paddleboard & Ocean Festival.  On duty at Tower #16 is veteran LACo OL, Lacey Beatie, who is watching the water like a hawk and under the supervision of Capt. Eugen Atanasio observe a swimmer struggling inside the surf line.....  the photos and video to follow tell the story... so here goes.....

No sooner than she fills her foot bucket does she slide into her wetsuit and take the rescue board out to effect a rescue...
