The 2015 Dick Haddock Run-Swim-Run.... The Results and The Finish!

Dateline: Thursday evening, August 20, 2015... Paradise Cove, Malibu, Calif... just a few minutes past 7 pm... and the top finishers are just about done with the final swim portion of this tortuous race from Zuma Lifeguard HQ to Paradise Cove...

 

We arrived at 7 pm on the nose and just in time to capture these photos!!!...

Here comes Number One!... Who could it be?!...

It's Brendan Casey!  Congratulations, Casey!

And here comes the Second Place Finisher....

 

And in Second Place its Jordan Wilimovsky...

And here comes the Third Place finisher... who could that be?!...

And in Third Place its none other than Kyle Brooks, M.D.!

And the Clipboard with the official tally, with this photo taken after the top three finishers crossed the finish line...

And in Fourth Place, Pat Volosin!  And we found out a bit later that Pat's dory partner at Zuma is Tom Doman (Jr.)... just sayin'...

And in Fifth Place...

And Sixth Place...

And then we split and headed back to Central Section before the Sheriff's were notified of our presence...

but before we exited No. Section we recognized the truck parked at Corral #2... and so we pulled over and found Veteran OL Tom Doman (Sr.), at his post and finishing out his 12 - 8 shift...

And then we got another treat with a drive by from Baywatch Malibu heading for the Malibu Pier and the end of their shift...

and then we said goodnite to Tumor!...
