Dateline: Friday morning, Sept. 16, 2016 at Santa Monica South Lifeguard Tower #24... I arrived an hour early before my shift at 10:30 a.m. at Tower #24 to find the UCLA Men's Varsity Basketball Team working out on the beach right beside the tower!... I kid you not!
Meanwhile out front and to the other side of Tower #24 was the USC Student Surf Club!... I kid you not!...
The photo proof follows:
Below, a group of USC Students with their USC surfboards...
Some more USC Student-Surfers in the water out front of Tower #24...
Around 11 a.m., the UCLA Basketball team departed...
Meanwhile, more USC Students show up to surf...
And then we got a surprise visit from Baywatch Malibu heading back to Malibu with both the American Flag and the POW/MIA Flag waving in honor of the fact that it was "POW/MIA Recognition Day" across our nation.
USC Student Surf Circle below with a LACo OLS on a SUP workout outside... Just "witness the fitness!"...
We're not sure which University you prefer, but one stingray voted against USC... Shown below is one USC Student, a senior finance major, being treated for a stingray injury to his right foot by the area OLS and Captain... at approx. 12:15 pm...
An hour later and on his second jumbo Sparklett's bottle of hot water, the USC Student gets the royal SMS treatment and is offered both a sun hat and beach towel, as well as some fresh mango slices, to protect him from the harmful rays of the sun...
10-4
Until next time.....
