Foot Bucket 101...

Dateline: Santa Monica South, Tower #20, as we were in transit on our off-duty foot patrol with our goal to walk and run to the Venice Breakwater and back... we observed Veteran OL Ricardo Monroy finish setting up the traffic cones around his tower and then proceed to the water's edge to fill his tower's foot bucket.  Ladies and Gentlemen, this is how it is done!


Timing is everything... you must wait for the water to wash up on shore so you can fill the bucket!...

After filling the bucket with water, dump it out so you can get the sand out of it left behind from the previous day...

and be sure to bend the knees when you commit to the task of filling the bucket!...

balance is also key...

reverse course and set about returning to the tower...

hike the berm... while balancing the bucket now filled with water.....
