USLA Goes To Hawaii... Photo Reconn.

The editorial staff along with a staff photographer strafed the Fall 2015 USLA Board of Director's Meeting held at the Marriott Waikoloa mid-morning to see what the heck was going on and we were not disappointed.

Event Sponsors were set up in one of the conference rooms... MAUI RIPPERS board shorts looked to be very well constructed.  Heads up, Chief Moseley and Assnt. Chief Boiteux... Maui Rippers said they are open to discussing a deal for their board shorts... just sayin'...

DaFin was on hand, er foot, too...   Did you know that they make a junior lifeguard/kid size DaFin?  I was informed that they do and that they are very popular with various JG programs around the country.

I got a 50% discount on their heel pad/leash combo! Regularly $20, I paid only Ten Bucks!...

Note: we first noted these DaFin heel pads this past summer along Venice South when we caught up with the notorious local Ave-26 Beach Gang...

and then we turned around and saw a familiar face entering the room... and so we took his photo, of course, and followed him into the meeting hall...

Aha!... look who is at the USLA Meeting after all?!...   :-)

During a coffee break we rounded up five of LACo's best!... both active and retired.

And then the H2O Oxygen Mask sponsor broke out a huge suitcase full of their all in one mask-snorkel for attendees to try... including this enthusiastic ocean lifeguard...

 and then the party was On!...

... and then we ducked out but not before looking back and getting a shot of the gathered USLA Fall Meeting attendees gathered on the beach at A Bay at Waikoloa for the water safety demonstrations shown above.
