"First Responders!"

El Porto, Dec. 1, 2012

"First Responders!"   Yep, that is what we are!

"Watch The Water"!   Yep, that is what we do!

"Stay In Shape!"   Yep, that is our obligation to the public, to ourselves and to each other.

Examples:

1.  "First Responders!"

In this first photo below, OLS Jeff Monroe is shown looking after a body boarder who got held down a little too long in the white wash and was a bit shook up at El Porto, Sat., Dec. 1, 2012, during the swell delivered by a couple of storms this past week.  Jeff said he watched this body boarder walk down the beach after getting out of the water and noticed that his balance was off and then he sat down on the sand.  This photo was taken a few minutes thereafter.  The photo above, taken from the parking lot, shows Jeff's vehicle on scene with the (then) seated body boarder.
