Dateline: Saturday, late morning, July 15, 2017... as I was walking toward the Venice Breakwater from Santa Monica (while "off duty") along the soft sand along the berm... I noticed a LACo ocean lifeguard setting up the swim-surf flags just north of the breakwater. Next I observed a jet ski just outside of the breakwater traveling at a fast speed and inside the swells... Next I observed the OLS at the Breakwater move quickly to address the issue...

The jet skier hears the warnings and moves outside the surf line and further from shore...
