Dateline: Santa Monica South, Wed., July 5, 2017 at approximately 12:40 pm... as I was walking from CSHQ out to Tower #16, I spotted one of LACoFD Lifeguard Operations Baywatch rescue boats cruising past Tower #16 toward the Santa Monica Pier. Well it turns out that this is the NEWEST Baywatch in the Fleet. Two new boats were christened in 2017, namely, Baywatch 20 and 21. I found this out when I swam out to the buoy at SMS Tower #26 about 15 minutes later after this same rescue boat tied up there. Here are the photos and videos!...
