We begin with a LACo Captain, recalled to duty, on his day off, due to the relentless summer weather and staffing issues due to multiple personnel being out on injury.
Op/Ed: The undersigned thinks it may be time for the Board of Supervisors to consider some emergency hiring of OLS' staff, even on a temporary basis, because alot of our permanent staff is having to work overtime to fill slots that are open due to multiple injuries to other permanent staff, which we understand may be as high as ten (10) persons or more... Time to hire some new permanents so our uninjured permanent staff don't get injured because of no down time.
