Dateline: Thursday, June 15, 2017, during my lunch break... I walked from CSHQ to SMS Tower #26, did a buoy swim with my new DMC Fins (Awesome!) and naturally took some photos of the beach, the ocean and some of the on duty lifeguards along Santa Monica South.... starting with 2017 Rookie, Marcus Rodarte, at Tower #16 below...

Partially staged photo, below, which includes the on duty foot bucket at SMS Tower #26 (not staged), the rescue can propped in the sand (not staged), and my new DMC swim fins which I really like due to the fact that they are (a) easy on the feet, (b) the blades offer excellent propulsion and, (c) most importantly, in my opinion, because the blades are not too wide they do not bang against each other while kicking.
Back for his second term, er, summer on SMS as Senator... OL Zach Senator!
