Surf at SMS Tower #28 just past 12 noon... |
Who Knew?!... The South Swell continued to generate some
larger than normal surf along our south facing Central Section beaches today, Sunday, July 21, 2013.
We took a walk, off duty, from SMS Tower #28 to just south of the Venice Pier and
got some nice shots of the surf and some of our on duty lifeguards and
even got a cool shot of OL Pedro Caldas on a workout catching a nice
wave while body surfing out front of his tower and just south of the
Venice Pier! Nice left, Pedro! Many Thanks to OLS Tito Bourget for the
i.d. on this body surfing OL!
