10 YEAR OLD/YOUNG LION, SAM ROSKIN - SON OF MR. & MRS. MARC ROSKIN, GRANDSON OF TAPLIN GREAT DON AND LOUISE WOLF AND GREAT GRANDSON OF GEORGE WOLF (FIRST LIFEGUARD @ VENICE BEACH)...

TOOK 15 SECONDS OF HIS 100YD FIRST JG QUALIFYING SWIM TO MAKE THE CUT FOR THE LACO JUNIOR LIFEGUARD PROGRAM (HIS THIRD TRY).

"GOES TO SHOW YOU CANNOT BEAT A LAD WHO DOES NOT QUIT!"

GEORGE WOLF WAS COACH OF THE 1956 L.A. COUNTY TEAM THAT COMPETED @ TORQUAY BEACH DURING THE 1956 OLYMPICS IN AUSTRALIA - (ACCORDING TO TOM MOORE) - WHO COMPETED ON THE HAWAIIAN TEAM WITH TOM ZAHN.

I PREDICT A NEW TAPLIN SWIMMER IN 2020!

LOOK FOR A REVIVAL IN THE BEACHSPORT.ORG EVENT SCHEDULE OF THE SURF RACING MENTOR COMPETITION IN THE SUMMER OF 2013.
