Dateline: Wed., July 22, 2020 around 10 a.m... The "County Recurrent" editorial staff drove down to Southern Section this morning to check out Ave. C and to take a swim... and yes, the water was COLD!... but there were some nice warm spots on the swim from Ave. H to Ave. C and back to Ave. H.

The famed AVE C red door!... which, by the by, got a fresh coat of paint thanks to OLS Mark Brill.
Below, Ave H, which was open and manned by veteran OL, John Gottschalk, who has both a son and daughter who are LACo Ocean Lifeguards as well.
