Lifeguard Chief, Don Rohrer, R.I.P.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of beloved LACoFD Lifeguard Chief, Don Rohrer, who passed away in his sleep today. As first communicated by the Lifeguard Alumni today via email and followed by Lifeguard Division:

Hello,

The Lifeguard alumni family passes along our condolences to the family of retired Chief Lifeguard Don Rohrer. Don passed during his sleep on the island of Kauai. Plans are being developed for a memorial service in the near future. We will let you know details when we get them. In the meantime please respect the privacy of the Rohrer family!
