Dateline: Santa Monica South, Thursday morning, March 10, 2016...
Before we arrived at CSHQ this morning, while stopped at the red light at PCH and Temescal Cyn. Road, we observed a mystery man dressed all in black, including a black hoodie on the deck at Will Rogers Tower #8...
Undaunted we proceeded to drive east bound toward Santa Monica on PCH..... with the sun shining big time and the air temp climbing.....
Upon our arrival at CSHQ, we saw several of L.A. County's Finest Ocean Lifeguards.....
We also thought we would take a photo of the Beach Rules in Santa Monica.... note to Jeff McConnel, no nudditity!...
And then we began our reconnaissance of SMS... follow along if you like. We guarantee that you will enjoy it!...

We continued on our journey toward Venice and stopped to say hello to OL Morgan Wallace at SMS Tower #26...

On our return trip toward the pier... we ran (literally) across Veteran OL - Surf Legend - Board Shaper, Mike Young, waxing his long board!...

As we continued toward the pier, the surf was even breaking nicely for this other surfer below out front of Tower #17...
And as the time was now about 5 minutes shy of 1100 hrs, we observed that SMS Tower #16 was being opened for business by a lucky OL...
And last but not least, upon our return to CSHQ, we observed the Stars & Stripes at half mast in honor of Mrs. Nancy Reagan (R.I.P.)...
